Order Acknowledgement E-mail

If you selected the Order Acknowledgement E-mail option when placing your order, you will receive an e-mail from Tech Data when your order has been received and again when it has been shipped. The Order Acknowledgement E-mail contains the following information:

General information

Information about your order as a whole appears at the top of the e-mail. Each line is described below:

Customer # Your Tech Data customer number
Customer Name Your company's name

PO #		 Your company's purchase order number (if you supplied one)
End User PO # Your customer's purchase order number (if you supplied one)
Terms Credit terms for this order
Blind Packaging Indicates your labeling instructions to us:
 
Letter/Explanation
Y— Use your company's shipping label.
N — Use Tech Data's shipping label.
Ship To The destination to which all containers will be shipped
Ship Complete Indicates your shipping instructions to us:
 
Letter/Explanation
Y — Hold the shipment until all items can be shipped together.
N — Ship each item ASAP.

Table information

Following the general information, each warehouse is listed with the items it will contribute to your order. Table entries are explained below:

Warehouse The location (city name) of a Tech Data warehouse introduces a list of items to be shipped from that warehouse - your order might be filled by two or more warehouses
Manufacturer/
Description 		The name of the product manufacturer and a brief description of the product
TD Part # The part number used by Tech Data
Mfr Part # The part number used by the manufacturer
Qty Ord. The number of units of the product that you have ordered
Unit $ Your cost for each unit
Ext$ Extended cost - your cost for all units of each product ordered (Unit $ times Qty Ord.)
